Born and raised in Canterbury, Ash-Leigh Campbell is the Technical Farm Manager at Ngāi Tahu Farming, where she has been working for over three years. She is responsible for assisting with the management and performance of eight dairy and dairy support farms.
After leaving high school she studied at Lincoln University doing diplomas in Agriculture and Farm Management and a degree in Commerce majoring in Agriculture. It was during this time she had her first taste of the Dairy Women’ Network, becoming a Dairy Women’s Network Regional Leader and the driving force behind the DWN Lincoln group which has now merged into Selwyn.
Ash-Leigh exuded considerable enthusiasm, passion and unashamed ambition to succeed in the dairy industry. She articulates well, recognising her strengths whilst demonstrating a preparedness to express her vulnerability. – Judges Panel
