The story of YUM started at the local market in Wanaka five years ago, when Sarah couldn’t find a breakfast cereal she loved. As she’s a chef, her cereal needed to use only the best ingredients and look after people, communities and the planet. A big ask, but she’s managed it!
YUM is made fresh every day in Nelson and delivered around the country. They source more New Zealand grown ingredients that any other granola, because they love to celebrate the ingredients that are in their own backyard. Think honey from Nelson; fruit from Nelson, Hawkes Bay and Timaru; macadamias from Waipu and Whitianga; and seeds, quinoa puffs and flakes from Geraldine, Canterbury and Taihape! Their latest flavour, the No.8 Granola (named after No.8 wire) is the first 100% New Zealand grown granola you can find. They are Carbon Zero and Climate Positive certified, and the business itself is majority woman-owned.
