Being part of a team and industry that wants to better themselves is what Di enjoys about working with the Dairy Women’s Network. Living in Hamilton with her husband Alastair and their four year-old son Finn she grew up on a dairy farm in the Waikato, but says she is a townie now.
While engaging with all the operational team members, she is focused on improving operational excellence. “I’m a cross the t’s and dot the i’s kind of operator,” she says. “I like to encourage and include the team’s ideas when it come to new ideas.” Working at the Dairy Women’s Network allows Di to demonstrate her strengths of planning, organising and processes.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves the great outdoors – bushwalks and hiking and has got back into running, getting out on the trails with a few half marathons on the radar. Suggesting what just might be a movie she enjoys, her favourite quote is ‘You’re gonna need a bigger boat.’
