A brand-new event to bring women in the rural sector together to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Enjoy a relaxed morning tea sponsored by Ballance Agri-Nutrients while hearing from two inspiring local leaders, Olivia Buckley and Dani Darke, as they share their experiences, insights, and leadership journeys.

Dani Darke is a King Country sheep and beef farmer, and experienced agribusiness leader. With a background spanning farming, finance, the meat industry, and governance, she is passionate about ensuring rural communities thrive. In 2025, Dani launched her premium wool brand, Yarns by Mount Tibby, and recently completed a Nuffield Scholarship.
Mum to 3 girls, and hands on bull shifter, she brings both a practical farmer’s perspective and a strategic outlook everything she does.

Olivia Buckley is a veterinarian, farmer, and governance professional based near Piopio, where she and her husband Matt operate a dairy, sheep, and beef farming business. Passionate about lifelong learning and leadership, Olivia completed her MBA in 2024 and has a strong interest in innovation and knowledge adoption in farming. She also holds several governance roles across the agricultural, community, and local government sectors.
