Hauraki Plains – Body Condition Scoring

Join us for a practical on-farm workshop about body condition scoring!
We’ll be out in a paddock with Ilyse Jennens from Franklin Vets (DairyNZ accredited) as she shows us how to condition score cows. You’ll learn how important it is to think about condition scores when drying cows off. What you’ll learn can also be used to reach condition score targets at calving.
Food and drinks will be provided. Please wear farm-appropriate clothing and gumboots, and let us know if you can make it by the 12th of March.
Feel free to bring along friends, family, neighbours and your team. Everyone’s welcome at Dairy Women’s Network Hauraki Plains regional events!
