Wayne Langford

Wayne Langford and his wife Tyler are dairy farmers from Golden Bay, milking 250 cows once-a-day.

Wayne sits as the National Dairy Chair for Federated Farmers, Golden Bay Feds President, Primary ITO Stakeholders Council, Rural Service Centre Vice Chairman, and Te Whare Mahana Board Member.

Wayne is the founder and general manager of the national charity Meat the Need. This is a charity that is all about NZ farmers feeding NZ families.

In his spare time, he is also known as the YOLOFarmer, a social media platform with a following of over 125,000 people.

Tyler Langford

Tyler is passionate about people and community; she believes that when these two are empowered and woven together extraordinary things are possible.

Tyler is mother to three very energetic boys Lewis 14, Gordie 12 and Alfie 11 and married to Wayne who she describes as all about heart and impact.

Tyler grew up in the city and would not have seen herself ever setting foot on a farm but 20 years later she could not imagine a more incredible backyard than farming in golden bay to raise her family.

Tyler is deeply committed to her family, friends and community and says her strongest values in life are connected to those loves.

Tyler says her greatest lessons in life have come with reflecting at the opportune moments in life and rebalancing and reprioritising.
