If you can tick ‘yes’ to all of these boxes, read on!
DWN is an inspirational organisation with a growth strategy centred on its vision to maximise the role and potential of women in the New Zealand Dairy Industry. They believe in giving unlimited opportunities to women in Dairy.
This new role has two components to it. One aspect of the role is in providing national oversight of the regional groups that operate as part of the DWN, and providing leadership and guidance to our skilled and talented employed Regional Convenor Coordinators (RCC). The second is in providing RCC service to a region. It provides an opportunity to work with our volunteer leaders and members, as well as a leadership role.
The right person for the role will be an experienced leader, have great people skills, be able to provide support and oversight to our RCC’s, whilst allowing them to maintain the autonomy they operate within. You will also have strong relationship management skills, and the ability to empower others in the work they do.
This role forms part of the DWN Management team and will work closely with the CEO and Marketing and Key Account Manager to provide leadership across the DWN.
This is a 30-hour per week position, so enough hours to keep you stimulated, but not too many to take up all your time. It can be worked remotely, but with a requirement to work in our Hamilton office once a fortnight. Perfect right!
An affinity to and experience in the dairy industry and in particular to the role women play on-farm would be an advantage as well as a commitment to leadership role modeling and empowerment.
