Olivia is part of the communications team, working to tell the stories of Dairy Women’s Network and our members. Living on a blueberry farm in Newstead with her partner Jase, cat Teeks and dog Uno, she’s slowly making the transition from a townie to rural life.
A fixer and creator by nature, she enjoys trying her hand at different things. Her constants have always been reading voraciously and writing, with both poetry and articles published and a recent Master of Professional Writing under her belt. She fills her evenings with freelance work, and twice a year she puts her energy into planning and making props for her nephews’ birthday parties.
Olivia enjoys being part of the Dairy Women’s Network team because she loves contributing to something bigger than herself, saying that there’s freedom to speak up if you have an idea and everyone’s contributions are celebrated. Her favourite quote is a classic from Dr Seuss: “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose”.
