The way to build emotional resilience is to ensure we have “multiple moments of tolerable stress in the presence of an attuned relationship”. In this session we will unpack what ‘tolerable stress’ looks like, the definition of ‘attunement’ and what putting that all together looks like to build emotional resilience. This session will primarily focus on building resilience for our children, but we will also learn some skills for building our own emotional resilience – it is a lifelong journey.
